Questions
How does the tool work out the due date?
With the last period method, it adds 280 days to the first day of your last period. It then moves the date by the difference between your cycle and 28 days.
What if my cycle is not 28 days long?
Choose your cycle length from 21 to 45 days. The due date moves by the number of days that your cycle is longer or shorter than 28.
How does the tool use the conception date and the IVF date?
It adds 266 days to the conception date. For an IVF transfer, it adds 261 days for a day 5 embryo and 263 days for a day 3 embryo.
Which trimester am I in?
The first trimester is week 0 to week 13 and day 6. The second is week 14 to week 27 and day 6. The third starts at week 28.
Is the due date exact?
No. It is an estimate. A scan from your doctor can give a more exact date. Ask your doctor or midwife which date to use.
Does the tool save or send my dates?
No. The math runs in your browser. The tool does not save your dates and does not send them to a server.
